Jo Nash

 

Jo has an  an honours degree in music from the Colchester Institute of Music and Performing Arts  and it was here that she joined the Nostalgia Big Band and fell in love with the Big Band sound. After leaving university she joined the Fanfare Big Band run by former BBC conductor Gordon Grant.

Music has taken Jo on three European tours and as far afield as South Africa, where she spent three years working and playing with the Stellenbosch University Big Band.  Jo returned to the UK in 2011 and subsequently founded Storm Dynamics Music School. 

Jo believes everyone should enjoy music, regardless of level, and actively encourages and engages with all skill levels, enabling everyone to be the best they can be and have fun whilst playing.
